HARRIS YEOMANS PIANO STUDIO POLICIES
1) SCHEDULING
Year-round lessons are provided for the most consistent education for my students. Thirty minute lessons are offered weekly for a total of four lessons per month. If there is a fifth lesson that month, there will be no charge. I reserve the right to make changes to this policy and they will take effect immediately.
2) TUITION AND FEES
Tuition is charged on a month-by-month basis at the rate of $75 per month or $90 per month for online (per student). Payment is due at the first lesson of the month. A late fee of $10.00 will be applied after the 10th of the month, unless prior arrangements have been made. I am more than willing to move lessons to accommodate your busy and ever-changing schedules. 24-hour notice is required to make such changes. If 24-hour notice was not given there will be a $10.00 fee added on the next billing month (unless sick). This is to compensate for the extra time and preparation to make those changes. If 24-hours is given to make changes, there will be no additional fee charged. Method of payments accepted are Venmo (preferred @Matti-Yeomans) PayPal (+$2.19 fee) Check or Cash.
3) CANCELLATIONS/HOLIDAYS
Upholding a regular schedule is a big factor of steady progress. Illnesses and emergencies arise and, for those, I will offer make-up lessons, provided upon request, and upon schedule availability. If you took your child out of school for being sick, don’t bring them to their lesson we can do the lesson online if they’re up for it. There will be no lessons on Martin Luther King Jr., Presidents, Memorial, Independence, Pioneer, Labor, and Thanksgiving Day (and the day after). During months of December/January, there will be no lessons during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s (official dates will be announced each year). Tuition will remain the same.
4) SUMMER MONTHS
If you decide to break for the SUMMER, a full month’s tuition will be required to hold your spot for the fall. If you decide to not pay the summer break fee, there is no guarantee that your regular time slot will be available in the fall. I will be finalizing the fall schedule the week before school starts. Please give at least 1 weeks notice.
5) LAST LESSON POLICY
If the time comes that you choose to discontinue your lessons, please notify me at least 2 weeks before your final lesson.
